Island City Lab
Island City Lab is a Kingston-based urban think tank that takes a network-based approach to understanding the unique features and challenges of small island cities across the Caribbean. We understand that our most critical challenges - mobility, housing, safety & security, and environmental degradation - are all expressed in the built environment. We aim to improve our urban spaces by building, fostering, and mobilizing a network of civic thinkers to confront these challenges. We want to assemble the existing urban expertise and build the capacity of young urban leaders to advocate for policies that will secure a sustainable and equitable urban future.
